"Macro Tourists" is a phrase that was coined by former policy economist and global macro trader Mark Dow to characterize investors who left their comfort zone to make big pronouncements about how macroeconomics really works.It might be interesting to come up with analogues in other fields. Perhaps Joseph has some examples from epidemiology.

Term of the day -- "Macro Tourists"
