Have you noticed how, as journalists have gotten worse, comedians have started stepping up to fill the gap?
I told you to keep an eye on these College Humor guys.
I feel quite strongly that it's both. Economic conditions of journalism have certainly ascerbated the problems, but they are not the sole cause. More importantly, I believe that we could get better journalism even under current economic conditions if we demand it in a coherent and consistent way.
